Making the Transition

May 21, 2011

College has been some of the best times of my life and luckily for me I still have another year left. At the same time though I’m excited to go out and work. It will be nice just to have a steady income. Throughout college, it has always been difficult for me to make money while going to school. It’s pretty safe to say I’m not the only one who feels this way. I just recently started interning at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and am loving it. The 9 to 5 work will take a little getting use to I’m sure but other than that it’s been a lot of fun.

It’s just amazing how you go from being the cool senior on campus to the rookie at work. I’ve learned so much so far and can’t wait to learn more. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait to actually have a steady income but at the same time I’m going to miss college. What I will probably miss most is the little things like hanging out with my room mates. I wish that I could get married, have kids but still live in a house with 5 of my guy friends while my wife takes care of the kids. All right, well maybe not that far but I would like something like that. All I gotta say is enjoy it while you can because it flies by. I remember my freshman year like it was yesterday. I could tell you everything I did that. I find it hard to believe when people go home because they hated college. I love it and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Man I’m going to miss college.
